Millbrook Free Range Co. is the paddock to plate enterprise of David & Kara Trigg and their family.
Our farm is located in the central highlands of Victoria at Millbrook, and surrounded by rich volcanic soil, lush pasture, and now wind turbines!
It all started when David & Kara relocated 'Loz' a Berkshire sow, and 'Henry' a Berkshire boar to their farm with the initial idea of using the pigs and their progeny to naturally fertilize and rehabilitate the soil, with the idea of providing a 'few good Christmas hams', for family and friends. Millbrook Free Range Co. now grows and sources the finest quality pork lamb beef and eggs.
What we cannot grow on our farms ourselves, we source from the very best livestock producers that have a similar ethical and sustainable approach to farming that we do.
Our cattle are grass fed and free from antibiotics and growth hormone, our pigs are free range and bred outdoors, our lambs are ethically and sustainably raised, and our eggs are produced from free ranging pasture raised ‘girls’.
